The Museum of Electricity
We have regular OPEN MORNINGS at the Museum and Archives on the 2nd Thursday of each month, 1030 – 1230 or by appointment. We are happy to have “casual visitors” in groups of up to four, provided that you don’t have COVID symptoms.
If you have a larger group please use our Contacts Page to get in touch and book a session where we can explore the Museum and Archive with you in more detail. We are also able to provide a range of slide talks (plus of course tea, coffee and biscuits!)
You will be able to come and visit to to research your favourite historical aspects – for example, you may be interested in old technology, transport or the social aspects of electricity. Our collection of old photos and films, and our electricity history archives, document more than a century of the history of electricity. Please check out the Museum, Archives and Photo Library pages for just a taste of what we offer.
You can also get in touch with us via our Contacts Page or by emailing us on response@elechistory.org
