How can I visit the Museum of Electricity and the Electricity Historical Archives?

We have regular OPEN MORNINGS at the Museum and Archives on the 2nd Thursday of each month, 1030 – 1200 or by appointment. We are happy to have “casual visitors” in groups of up to four, provided that you don’t have COVID symptoms.

If you have a larger group please use our Contact Form to get in touch and book a session where we can explore the Museum and Archive with you in more detail. We are also able to provide a range of slide talks (plus of course tea, coffee and biscuits!)

You will be able to come and visit to to research your favourite historical aspects – for example, you may be interested in old technology, transport or the social aspects of electricity. Our collection of old photos and films, and our electricity history archives, document more than a century of the history of electricity.
